National Executive Committee

The governing body of Latino America Unida, Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. is composed of a hierarchical structure, with the National Board of Directors situated at the top. The board members are the corporate officers of the fraternity. They provide the organization its directives and ensure that the fraternity is in compliance with all government regulations. The National Executive Committee is elected by the membership of the fraternity. The executive committee coordinates the operations of the organization, including its finances, communication, and development. The committee organizes national events and philanthropic programs. Furthermore, it supervises the activities of the undergraduate and alumni chapters. The General Assembly consists of representatives from all branches of the organization. The assembly convenes annually to vote on legislative amendments and elections. The General Assembly and the National Executive Committee are under the auspices of the Board of Directors, each with their own subdivisions. All active chapters of Lambda Alpha Upsilon are required to maintain an executive board. The local boards are accountable for coordinating their own activities and reporting to the National Executive Committee. The local chapters must adhere to the Metas and support their respective communities. Their responsibilities include planning events that promote cultural awareness and diversity, recruiting prospective members, fundraising, and conducting community service programs. ![]() |
