The Chairman of the Board is responsible for the management, development and effective performance of the Board of Directors; and provides leadership to the Board for all aspects of the Board’s work.

The Chairman acts in an advisory capacity to the Executive Director (President or CEO) and to other officers in all matters concerning the interests and management of the Organization and, in consultation with the CEO, plays a role in the Organization’s external relationships.

The Executive Officer of Lambda Alpha Upsilon is the chief administrator or president of the fraternity. He is responsible for carrying out the mission and vision of the fraternity as outlined by its board of directors. The Executive Officer presides over the National Executive Committee and all of its subdivisions. The officer is also the lead representative of the fraternity at all national Greek council events.

The Director of Communication provides guidance to the Chief Officer of Public Relations and Director of Internet Operations and creates all internal and external policy in reference to communication. This position ensures that all documents and policies are congruent to the mission and vision of the Organization. Also the position is responsible for the up keeping of our fraternal history.

The Director of Membership of Lambda Alpha Upsilon provides the strategic direction for the Operations and Alumni Relations of the fraternity. He is responsible for carrying out the mission and vision of the fraternity as outlined by its board of directors. The Director of Membership presides over the Chief Operations Officer and all of its subdivisions and ensures that the work carried out by the organization and its subsidiaries is of a quality which complies with the organization’s quality policy.

The Director of Finance of Lambda Alpha Upsilon provides strategic planning and advisement to the Organizations overall financial plan and investment. This position oversees the Finance department and ensures the fiscal mission is maintained. The Director of Finance researches potential investment ventures and builds the financial structure of the organization.
